Together with IREN, GISIG is organizing the final workshop of the WaterSpy project, which will be hosted in Genoa by the IIS (Italian Institute for Welding) on the 11st of February.

WaterSpy is a European Horizon 2020 project , started in 2016, which developed a device for pervasive and online monitoring of tap water, able to notify the presence of bacteria dangerous to human health (E. Coli, Salmonella, P. Aeruginosa).

The project is come to its conclusion: the final workshop has the goal to present and disseminate the project results beyond Consortium partners, to stakeholders and the end-users community. After the conference, a visit to the IREN plant (where the device is installed) is planned,  open to all participants interested in seeing the device in person.

The event is free and open to all, upon registration, until full capacity is reached.
