The giCASES partner Katholieke Universiteit Leuven is organizing the seminar “Case-based collaborative learning in the geospatial field” with the following objectives:

  • To present and discuss examples of case-based collaborative learning in the geospatial sector;
  • To present different perspectives on collaborative and case-based learning including insights and views from private companies, the European Union, the mapping agencies;
  • To discuss and agree upon the key-concepts of the giCASES project: collaborative and case-based learning, co-creation of knowledge and how those will be applied in the seven case studies of the project;
  • To exchange ideas on the approach for the different case studies.

The seminar will bring together representatives from the consortium partners; giCASES advisory board members representing the academic sector (AGILE), the mapping agencies (Eurogeographics) and private sector (Technological Parc ComoNEXT); representatives from private companies active in the geospatial field, the European Commission, similar projects and other organisations.

Registration is free, coffee breaks and lunch are included.
