giCASES is a Knowledge Alliance project coordinated by GISIG under the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission. The project aims to enable and strengthen innovation in GI education and industry and to facilitate the collaborative creation, management and sharing of knowledge.
Climathon 2018

Climathon is a global movement dedicated to solving city climate challenges.
Happening simultaneously around the world on 26 October and over the course of 24 hours, this event is inspired by the world of hackathons. Participants are invited to collaborate on imagining innovative solutions to specific climate-related challenges.
H2020 RECONECT Kick-Off Meeting

GISIG, Portofino Park Authority and CNR-IRPI are the organizers of the RECONECT Kick-Off meeting, that is held on 26-27-28 September in the wonderful frame of Portofino.
Project partners, EC officers and main local and international stakeholders take part in this launch event of the project.

The GISIG Association is pleased to invite all the participants to the Conference at the “Training and education in GI and EO sectors” workshop scheduled on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 14:00.
The aim of the workshop is to raise awareness on the activities and results of two cutting edge projects, giCASES and EO4GEO.
