EO4GEO workshop in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Brussels
Two dates of the next EO4GEO workshop have been announced:
French Edition: 7-8 October, Latresne (Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France);
English Edition: 24 October, Brussels (Belgium)
FOSS4G 2019 – global event on Open Source geo data – on 26-30 August in Bucharest
FOSS4G (Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial) is the biggest event of the Open Source geoCommunity, organized by the Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo).
Free Online Course on Remote Sensing presented by ESA
After the first successful edition, the Massive Open Online Course “Echoes in Space – An Introduction to Radar Remote Sensing” presented by ESA will be reopened in September 2019.
Copernicus launches ‘Eyes on Earth’ Roadshow
‘Eyes on Earth’ Roadshow is a series of five events across the EU that brings space and Earth Observation closer to EU citizens, raising awareness of skills and job opportunities in the geospatial industry.
The first Roadshow will take place at EUMETSAT’s premises in Darmstadt, Germany, on 12-13 June.
Award to recognise public-private partnerships for the Copernicus user-uptake
Under the CopHub.AC project, the EO4GEO partner EARSC is running a new competition to recognise and reward outstanding collaboration in public-private partnerships for the Copernicus user-uptake.
