AGIT 2012 – GI Impulse vernetzen
4 – 6 July 2012 brings the University of Salzburg back into the center of the international Geoinformatics community: Three days full of information, exchange of new ideas and valuable impulses for their own work expected to more than 1,000 academics, users and providers of geospatial information technologies. More than 200 high quality presentations, discussion forums and workshops on theory, trends and practical applications of geoinformatics will be offered to the audience here. International visitors come to parallel the English Geoinformatics Forum Salzburg (GI_Forum) , which takes place simultaneously at the university.
Geoinformatics Forum Salzburg – Linking Geovizualisation, Society & Learning
GI_Forum 2012 offers full-fledged, intertwined tracks on GIScience & Technology and Learning with a focus on geovisualization, society and learning, and their inter-relationship. We expect researchers from these two fields to interact closely and benefit from each other.
